Abstract

Cellular Memory is the theory that memory cells are stored not only in the brain, but also in organs throughout the body. The theory proposes that these cells contain preferences including taste, music, academia, everyday habits, and other links to a persons identity. Although the theory was first popularized in many horror movies and comics, it has since become a topic of hot debate with the increasing need of organ donation and transplantation. The number of transplant recipients that report experiencing symptoms of cellular memory has shown a steady increase over the past few years. With more studdies and research being introduced to the public, I have decided to explore alternative explanations for symptoms similar to those of Cellular Memory.
